Best in Business Award

Legacy Homes - Only Home Builder to Win Best in Business Award Nine Years in a Row!

Legacy Homes has been named the 2024 Best in Business Award Recipient for North Alabama - the only Home Builder to receive this distinction. This is Legacy Homes’ ninth year in a row receiving this honor. Quality, integrity, trust and experience are the cornerstones of this prestigious award, which recognizes excellence for businesses and professionals. Legacy Homes builds homes throughout North Alabama and currently features eleven communities with more under development. Building quality, energy-efficient homes at an extraordinary value with innovative designs is the core of Legacy’s mission.

“For the ninth consecutive year, we are honored and humbled to be the only homebuilder in the Huntsville / Madison County / Limestone County area to receive the Best in Business award,” says Jeff Korotky, Division President of Legacy Homes. “As a locally-operated company, we’re grateful to be part of such a vibrant, growing community as we carry out our mission of delivering quality, energy-efficient homes with innovative designs at the best price per foot in North Alabama. We appreciate our homeowners for choosing us to build their legacy – their home – their greatest investment where moments are created, and memories are lasting. Once again, our employees proved their commitment to excellence as we closed homes on time, on budget, and with exceptional customer service as evidenced by our industry-leading homeowner satisfaction rating of 98%. Teamwork is truly at the core of our achievements, and our goals could not have been accomplished without the partnership of our outstanding local Realtor community, subcontractors, building suppliers, and Partner Lender. We look forward to growing alongside our expanding market in 2024 as we open our new community in Monrovia, AL while continuing to serve Huntsville, Athens, Meridianville, Hazel Green, Owens Cross Roads and New Market. We are privileged to be in a wonderful, growing community, honored to receive this award, and we look forward to reaching new heights in 2024.”

Each year, local consumers participate in a market survey and are asked to nominate businesses and professionals they feel are worthy of the distinction, “Best in Business.” Once the results are compiled and tabulated, the Best in Business Award Association begins an extensive selection process. Each nominee first must demonstrate a positive track record of responding to complaints with the local Better Business Bureau (BBB), a prerequisite of the program. Next, the owner or officer of the nominated business is required to participate in an assessment interview with Best in Business Award. Topics ranging from experience and hiring practices to liability insurance coverage and customer service procedures are reviewed. Discerning the business’ overall reputation in the community is the final and most important step of the process, since Best in Business Award only designates one recipient per category. Feedback from other recipients and community leaders is used to gauge a nominee’s overall reputation in the community.

“Selecting an exceptional slate of recipients for our award was time consuming and required us to be thorough” said John Gaylor of Best in Business Award. “And allowing local consumers to take part in the process also gave us a credible point of reference from which to begin our search. When consumers call upon our recipients, they can do so with the assurance that these businesses are worthy of this notable distinction.”
